Can I move out at 16?

So, I live with my dad,my mom isnt in the picture, and he always says that he doesnt want to live with me and hes leaving and all this other crap. Im 15, and they say you can move out at 16. In kentucky can you really do that? Because I have someone I can move in with when I turn 16.

Depends on the state; I know in texas you can get emancipated and live on your own or with a friend/relative.

I think you can with consult . But I’d say stay for 2 years so you have college and what not paid for or call social services reporting neglect or abuse . They won’t tell him you called on him and maybe he’ll start to be a better dad …

Where I live.. Yeah you can move out at 16 without parent consent.

it depends on the state but if not you need to get imancipated to move out
