Can I move out after my mother passes away?

I’m 15 years old, I will be 16 in November.(I live in the state of Tennessee, by the way.) My mother is 54 years old and very sick, I don’t expect her to live very long. My father passed away when I was 12, so I can’t go live with him. My aunts and uncles are crazy and I’d go insane living with them. Could I move out by myself? Or could I get one of my friends to adopt me?

I know this is just me negatively thinking, but I want to know just in case it actually does happen, because you never really know…..

With you being a minor and her illness, I imagine legal arrangements have already been set pertaining to you (find out and also make sure she has a will) - what would be your mothers wishes regarding you ? - take care of her now with all your love and care….tell her everything you want to tell her now….you and all of your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.
