Can I afford college?

okay so I’m 17 years old and my parents disowned me and now I’m living with distant relatives who really don’t like me (in atlanta) and I want to go to college and major in forensics. I want to go to GA Perimeter and then transfer over to UGA. do you think I can afford this by myself if I work all summer and start in spring. do you think I can afford to pay for college, books, and a place to live with a part-time job while going to college? I have a 3.4 GPA but I think it’s going to go down a lot this year (senior year) because I’ve been stressed out and I changed schools in the middle of the year in a different state. I also have a lot of family issues and I’ve been very depressed. I can’t wait to be on my own, but I don’t know if I can afford everything and I don’t know if this is practical. please help me!!! thanks!!!

I think so…make sure you get financial aid/scholarships..that can cover the books and college… if you dont get enough to cover everything , start at a community college…I think also, if you get a job as a waitress, you can make goood tips ie: I hop …trust me…that can help you with the rent…do not settle for a minimum wage job…go where the money is at…or go to a place with commission…I am a waitress and I make good tips, im going to a community college and it is helping me a lot…also make you can find a place for low income people to live…that can lower your rent…OR LOL…IF you GET A SCHOLARSHIP LIKE MY FRIEND DID, you CAN GO TO A COLLEGE WITH DORMS,AND MOST LIKLEY that SCHOLARSHIP WILL COVER THE COST OF your LIVING…THEN you JUST NEED TO BUY your FOOD,PERSONAL ITEMS, CLOTHES, ETC/…if you have any more questions for me, write me a letter on funmail…ill help you out =)
