Fruit are healthy. Of course too much of anything can be bad but don’t worry about eating a few dates.
In fact, there is a book out called the 80/10/10 diet that argues that we should get most of our calories from fruit. I haven’t read it yet but I am interested in what he has to say.
No, fruits will not make you fat…that’s the silliest question…fruits have sugars in them though, but it’s natural sugar…Not the kind of sugar found in cereals, candy bars, etc…If you eat too many, you could gain weight, (not much) but a healthy amount will not hurt you. The weight would most likely come off easy, and it wouldn’t be enough weight to make you fat.. Don’t worry! You are too stressed about your weight, so I really suggest talking to a doctor. They won’t judge you for being self-conscious. I used to be weight crazy myself. I realized if I eat sweet/fatty food in moderation that the world won’t going to end, and that I wouldn’t gain weight as long as I was careful. I assure you that you don’t need to be worried. Fruit is high in natural sugars which can actually cause you to gain weight…there’s no need to cut back on what you’re eating, just make sure you balance your diet with vegetables and grains…a properly balanced diet and proper exercise is all you need to maintain a healthy weight
a few dates shouldn’t cause you any problems
