camera issues of doom

I no longer have a digital camera to take beautiful pictures with. I haven’t a clue what is wrong it. The camera is a Samsung S860 with 8.1 mega pixels. I just discovered the problem yesterday. It seems that No matter how many fresh batteries I put it in when I turn it on the green light blinks but the lens wont come out. I never dropped it or got it wet or anything.

The other problem the place I got it from went out of business and I dont know if my warrenty is for a year or 6 months. Since my birthday is coming up I am trying to decide if I should just wait and get a new camera or wait and see if there is something I can do.

I really need the help and I greaty appreciate it if someone would help me out.

if it starts saying “lens error” then that means the lens is broken. like the lens wont zoom out and open when you turn it on so it shuts off? if thats whats happening theres really nothing much you can do but get a new one, it mightve gotten pushed in accidently by something in a bag and such.
