yea it’s true. there’s stages color goes through brown, red-brown, orange, yellow, pale yellow, white. depending on how long you leave it. also gettin an ash blonde color works. ash colors eliminates red-orange color.

I tried every way possible to keep my hair from turning orange and none of it worked. Go to a hair stylist and have it done right because if you don’t you will regret it. Leaving it in too long will not only thin your hair it will burn it and it will break off. Take it from one who knows! The pigmentation in your hair is the reason it turns orange and stylists know what to use. Be kind to your hair ,go get it done.

I have been bleaching my hair Barbie blonde for about 20 years now and I’ve dyed it almost every color there is - and then back to blonde. I’ve made every mistake there is to make and have now got it down to an exact science and have been able to go blonde anytime I want with no problems or breakage. & I’m so glad I’ve finally got it right that I want to share my knowledge with all who wants it!

Bleaching hair from dark to light takes a while - if you really want a really nice blonde hair color go ahead and email me and include a picture of your hair as it is now and one of where you want it to be - I can help you get it the right color without it breaking or looking bad and probably for under 15 bucks in supplies

I take it you are using hair dye from a box? a couple tips. if you have long hair…or if your short hair is thick…grab an extra box. some kits come with a comb on the end of the applicator, super helpful. maybe have a friend help and make sure each hair strand is completely covered 360 degrees around. take it from a brunette who went blonde. the better the first application, the happier you’ll be. missing chunks of hair will make you have to re-dye. and doing that too much will make it WAY hard to ever go brunette again.

don’t freak out when you see your hair turning orangish at first… leave it on the recommended time plus 5 mins… and you’ll be blonde and beautiful!!

Yes, thats true. People don’t take the time to learn and their hair turns orange. I took a hairstyling class and thats how I know. When you put the blond in your hair, once its all in and everything you need to put a plastic bag over your hair and clip it so the heat stays in. The heat helps the hair dye work better and quicker. Check it every now and then, if its orange-ish, that means its not done yet. Be patient.
