Why do you sweat when you break a bone?

My dad said when he broke his leg falling out of a tree stand he hit the ground didn’t feel anything but light headed and started to sweat. Why does that happen??

Answer #1

Stress?

Answer #2

well, duh, thats what happens when you get a load of adrenaline :P since his body went into danger mode the core temperature is raised slightly by the increase in blood flow and thus sweat will start cooling the body…. adrenaline caused him not to feel any pain as well :)
