Does getting braces hurt?

they just cause your teeth to be sore, but you have to be careful with how hard you brush your teeth because you can wear down the upper part of your teeth. the injections in the gums is usually used to numb the gums to remove the piece of flesh that connects from the gums to the lower and upper lip.

they dont stick anything in your gums except maybe if a wire pokes the back of your mouth and purple and black is good and so is aqua and pink

Hiyaaa ah to be very honest they dont hurt they hurt the 1st 2 days if you eat hard foods but thats it ah aqua and pink is nice :D

I have had braces before, and they were sore the first couple days because I was getting used to them. The brackets (the metal pieces that are directly on your teeth) can make your mouth pretty sore, but they give you wax to put on them, and it works great. But I am getting them again because I didn’t wear my retainer after I had them taken off, so be sure to wear your retainer at night when it’s all over!! The little pain that you will experience is WELL worth it for straight, beautiful teeth!

I have braces. well I had too have an operation in hospital, they put me too sleep for a while lol. they had too cut open my gum and remove some teeth. which didn’t hurt because I wasn’t awake. but it depends what the orthodontist say! most people don’t need that. :) at first I thought they would really hurt! but they don’t that much too be honest. the worst part about it as the glue they use, it tastes AWFULL! I had too sit up and spit out into tissue’s and use mouthwash. and the other worst part is when they’re actually on, for the first couple of days they hurt, because obviously they’re pulling and moving your teeth together. the top braces were the least painfullest. I’ve had the top ones on around 8months-ish, and there’s no problem at all with them! I had the bottoms on around 2months ago, and they still hurt when I push my tonge against them lol, but you get used to it(& I guess you just dont push your tongue against them lol!!) the metal brackets on the back of the teeth sorta dig into your gum, which makes it sore after a while, but I’m totally used too them! also with the bottom brace on I still can’t eat a mc chicken sandwich properly, I have too pick at it hahaa! but overall I totally reccomend getting them. the pain is miner, and I would rather have the TINIEST pain for the result after!:)infact, my family said I smile with my teeth more than I did before I had the braces. I actually like them tbh :P and I’ve just had them all one colour, you can get two colours but. I had bright pink, purple and light blue. I’ve had the light blue twice because they looked nice:] but the colours do fade because they’re only little elastic bands.:P but yeah totally get them, it’s SO worth it!! :) -ameliaar.

well I’ve never liked the dentist ever! they make me nervous .. an make m stomach starts hurting . . I am scared of pain . . I have a gap ad I as wondering if braces close it ? but some people tell me when they tighten braces it hurts … sum people say it don’t

I am getting braces soon and I am kind of freaked out because of the thing they put on your mouth to keep it open.It is like having a really big cheesy smile. I was thinking green, pink, teal, or glow-in-the-dark. Which one?

umm once you get the wires on the braces it pulls.. so it does hurt to eat for about 4 days… as for the colors…I dont care what you get, but the colors that look bad are black, yellow, or clear bc they turn the color of your food… but if your getting metal braces… do not get silver unless you dont want the color to show up yw

I do not know but my aunt had some when she was in college and she got blue and purple and I asked her if it hurt and she said it did but I asked another person if it hurt and they said no! so I dont know if it does or not!!! sooo I cant tell YOU!!! BUT I WISH I WISH I COULD SOOO SSSOOORRRYYY!!!
