I want to ask a boy out but i dont want to embarress him in front of his friends

Im nearly 14 and i like this boy but i dont know how or when to ask him out. I dont really see him at school very often but we we both do this club on a friday. I dont want it to be awkward when i ask him or id ont want to ask him in front of his friends because he will probebley feel embarresed. please help :)

get his home phone number and ask him on the phone..you can ask for his phone number in front of his friends and that wouldn’t be embarrassing at all.
