Is it bad to have a low body temperature?

right now I have bronchitis and I was taking my temperature and it was 97.6. is it bad to have a low body temperature like that?

Some people just have lower ones then others it isnt necicaerally bad. My dad is an emergency doctor adn he gets people in that have a low temperture … naturally. its common adn nohting to worry about!!! Unless it is natrually higher then 97.6 such as 98.6. Then you should contact a dotcor

thats weird when i go to the doctors my temp is most of the time 96. something or a little higher? and they told me it was normal?? and so did the hospital and my other docctors? im confused but yah i wouldnt worry bout that lol look at me im still alive. my temp right now is 96.6 lol i feel great!!!

Funadvice is never a substitute for a doctor. However, I wouldn’t worry, you’re barely a degree off, and have no reason to be so worried. If it drops lower, or gets really high, then I would contact a medical professional. Most likely your body has finally broken its fever caused by your illness and is adjusting still to return to normal.

As above, you’re only one degree below norm, and i was like that with the flu a few weeks ago… still here by the way. But if you are worried then see your doctor.
