Why does everyone think that christians live by blind faith?

Why does everyone think that christians live by blind faith? Its not true! Lol! :d

Answer #1

Because one does not arrive at Christianity by sitting down and reasoning or studying physical evidence.

Answer #2

jimahl - I disagree totally…

God wants to be known by all mankind. And he does manifest himself to his children, when they meet his conditions…

He is God… he does not bow to us…

We bow to Him…

We come to Him in faith, and he meets us at our point of need.

If you think you have no need for him…

Just wait a little longer…

Answer #3

Dieties are unknowable, so any beleif or faith in them is absolutely blind.

If it was knowable, it would no longer be faith, it would be fact, and thus not blind.

Answer #4

Faith is necessarily blind by definition. If it’s informed, it’s no longer faith, but simply belief.

Answer #5

Siverwings, as you often do, you are confusing knowledge with belief. Knowing something requires tangible evidence of existence. If you believe something to be true, and can’t prove it exists, you can not KNOW it exists.

I can believe that Santa lives on the north pole all I want. But unless I go up there and see for my self that he does in fact live there, I can not say I KNOW he lives there. I only BELIEVE he lives there.

It’s ok, I know reality is a tough concept for some believers…

Answer #6

in every single religion out there, there will always be people who live by blind faith christians included

Answer #7

Answer #8

Answer #9
