Blender VS 3Ds max and Maya?

Blender Is Very Great. You NEED to Buy Fluis Sim. Programs For 3DS MAX? Blender Already Has A Fluid Sim. Program. And Yes Blender Does Have Plugins, Like Yaf(a)ray. Yafray Is A Better Rendering Program, Better Than The Default Blender Foundation Rendering Program. If You Want More Proof That Blender Is Every Bit, And Mabye Even Better Than 3DS Max, Maya, And Softimage Xsi, Go Look Around On Blenderartists(.)org

BLENDER is a great package as it provides many plugins which are also free, plus blender runs faster than any other 3D softwares I’ve used until now. It takes a little more time to render than other softwares but that is negotiable for me.It also has great Smoke, Fire and Fluid Sim.

Blender it’s a good choice only for makeing games and fooling around, and I guess it’s the only choice when you don’t have some money. If you wanna work, and be involved in some real 3d projects than I think there’s no question about, 3ds max it’s the right choice. I think the major chapter where 3ds max overcomes blender it’s precision, and haveing a well metric system while in blender everything it’s mostlly done by eye and proportions. So it’t pretty clear from this angle, why 3ds max it’s widelly used in architecture, mechanics, realistic simulations and ofcourse gaming and movies industry. Blender ‘could be a decent program but only at makeing movies or cute funny games but nothing more than that, because of it’s severe lack of precision. Actually there’s not much to compare, 3ds max has a lot more features than blender, not to mention all the plugins you can add after instalation.
