Verizon vs. at&t?

Which carrier is better, Verizon wireless or at&t? It would be really helpful if I had the iphone 3g but I don’t want to be screwed over on my service.

I also think it depends on where you live also. I no where I live I can ONLY use Verizon which it does have one of the best coverage.
