Bleeding in early pregnancy

Ok my husband and I are trying to concieve, so we had sex just about every day this month. I ovulated the first week of the month and was due for a period today. However, I started bleeding the day before yesterday. It was very light and brown at first but yesterday it got VERY heavy and was bright red. But this morning when I went to the bathroom there wasnt any blood. I only bled for 2 days. I have had all the symptoms of pregnancy so this kind of bothers me. I dont know if Im having a miscarriage or if I was even pregnant. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

It could be numerous things:

-A short period -A chemical pregnancy -A miscarriage

If you are honestly concerned, see your doctor.
