bleaching mi hair

Im going from being a brunette to a blonde in the summer so here is mi questions: Does hair dye have bleach in it? Do i need to use my own bleach to bleach my hair first then to use the store bought dye?? & how bad is bleach for my hair??

Answer #1

I have brunette hair and was bleaching/dying blonde for about 6 years, get ready if you are sure you want to go blonde, first of all your hair will be really dried out from the bleach, if you go with a store bought dye it will end up being an odd yellowish blonde. Most store dyes for blonde have bleach in them. I have seen people just put bleach on their hair and it does turn it really whitish blonde but it really ruins your hair.

My suggestions if you are trying to avoid the damage get really subtle light brown/blonde highlights this will give you the sunkissed look and personally i think it looks really good with a tan!

BUT If you really want to be a blonde get ready to have roots that show as well. So if you want to avoid that you can just apply the solution every couple of weeks but it is still unavoidable. But its not all bad, if you really want it just be ready to take care of your hair afterwards.

If you decide to go brown again you will need a filler applied then the dye (which make sure you have done at a salon or it could turn any color but brown) And even after that your hair will always be dry from the bleach. I ended up cutting my or atleast a good 6 inches of it. I am done bleaching. I loved being blonde but my hair was so frizzy and dryed i had to wear it up all the time.
