Use a color stripper, found at most beauty supply stores and walgreens, then after using the color stripper your hair will be a base color, somewhat orange. Then you want to use a normal dye with a no brass packet added, also found at beauty supply stores. You need to use it to stop your hair from looking orange. It should turn out great but remember what works for some people will not work for others. Goodluck doll.

you need to go to a salon.(if you dont want to have a crappy turnout, homecolor will turn your hair orange) my mom is a hairdresser and my hair was black and she just put like a million highlights in (by bleaching them) and it looks super cute. the only way youll be able to lighten it is to bleach it. after you bleach it I would wait like 3 days and if you dont like the color then recolor it with however dark you want it.
