Birthday gift for boyfriend/ex?

My boyfriend and I have been on a break for about five days now. We needed it becaue he is going through a lot and it was taking toll on our relationship. The first few days it was awkward but we seem to be talkin a bit more now friends again but we still we miss you and love you because I do very much (and vice cersa). I bought him a chain a few weeks ago for his birthday friday (not knowing the break would be coming), and so im stuck. We are still friends with the romance there it just kind of blocked right now. Do I give it to him on his bday anyway? wait til we are back together? what? im stumped I don’t want to seem clingy or overdo it. help please! we are not hostile toawards each other so it makes this a little difficult.

I think that you should still give it to him and just tell him I got this for you before we took a break and if you will still accept it than I would still like to give it to you. the thought that counts, I dont think it will make it worse, unless he is a total jerk or smethng

I think that you and him are obviouslii in love . I am currently on a break right now with a guy im totally in love with . it doesnt mean that the love isnt there or you fell out of love . it just means that maybe you guyz spend too much time with eachother like me and my boyfriend do . Its his birthday give it to him , you guyz arent over . just think of it as you guyz are on hold .
