John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believes in him will not perish but have everlasting life ( what this means is that whosoever( being me, you,) believes in their heart that Jesus died on the cross for our sins and that God raised him from the dead on the third day they will not perish (die). They may die a physical death but the death that is spoken of is spending eternity in hell (death) or heaven ( everlasting life).

Psalms 23. Read this whole chapter. Aprox a week ago I was challenged with my health. Everyday I have read this psalm and learned to relax totally in God. God has full control of life and you know what im not stressed when God is guiding the ship

Proverbs 3:26 For the Lord shall be thy confidenceand shall keep your foot from being taken. (This means in all you go through in life the Lord will be all the confidence you need and if you place your trust in him and walk with him the Lord will not let you stumble or fall). I hope I helped :)

Second favorite verse:

Rom 8:28 And we know that all (1) things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called (2) according to his purpose.

(1) not just the good things but the bad things also - what was meant for evil can be turned for good - (2) applies to those who are saved and serve His purpose, spreading His good news for mankind.

John 3:16 is the main verse for any Chrsitian becuase nothing describes his love best. Imagine that you did somthing terrible, a very TERRIBLE thing like killed your father and disowned your brother; because you feel that your father loved your brother more then you. Then imagine when you are at court and your brother stands and says “I will bear the punishment let my brother go free”. All sins against man are also sins against G-d so even when you lie to your fellow man, you also lie to G-d.

Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

-=Meaning that G-d’s word is raw power. He doesnt need a weapon because he is the epidamy of truth. By simply speaking he is changing everything=-

Luke 12:7 But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.

-=G-d knows even the simplest details of your body, you are more valueble to him then any of the other creatures of the earth.=-

Genesis 1:26 Then God said, “Let us make human beings in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”

-=Created in his image means that we are able to dictate over the earth as he does. He has set us above all worldly creatures and elements.=-

“Women should be silent in the churches, for they are not permitted to speak, but should be submissive, as the law also says.” (1 Corinthians 14:34)

“If any man takes a wife, and goes in on her, and detests her, and charges her with shameful conduct, and brings a bad name on her, and says, ‘I took this woman, and when I came to her I found she was not a virgin…” (Deuteronomy 22:13,14) “But if … evidences of virginity are not found for the young woman, then they shall bring out the young woman to the door of her father’s house, and the men of her city shall stone her to death with stones…” (Deuteronomy 22:20,21)

Bible passasges mean different things to different people. To me, this reminds that when I feel like it’s just too much, I can get through. I need to lean on God and He will help me through it. When my daughter was murdered, it was devastating. I wasn’t sure I wanted to go on. But I have a little boy also. God gave me the strength and peace of mind when I had none left in me.

Matthew 6:27-31 “ For this reason I say to you, dont be worrieedd about your life…”

Jeremiah 29:11” For I know what I’ve planned for you, says the lord. I have plans to prosper you, NOT TO HARM YOU. I have plans that will give you a future filled with hope.

    and more they really make my life feel better when im in trouble because I know I have someone who will take car eof it :)))

For me the greatest, most Important one:

People say ‘a loving God wouldn’t allow this to happen’ - they’re thinking small scale - (1) He Loves us sooo much He (2)gave us a gift - being His Son, Jesus - realize right here, He being Pure, Good, Perfect, cannot even look upon sin (us), yet He didn’t turn His back, He could have…He made a WAY for us (to go to Heaven) and didn’t have to <<< THAT’S where His tremendous Love comes in - we didn’t deserve it nor could we ever do anything to deserve it - notice He tells us there is ONLY one WAY (belief in JESUS) to go to Heaven, being a good person, doing good works will not get us there, only Jesus - (3) why the gift - so we would not perish (be destroyed) but live forever with Him !!
