I did my lip with a safety pin and if it was a big enough safety pin then 16g would be exactly what you should use…

im not sure about the size but make sure that you watch it constantly because my friend did that too and she ended up having ta get plastic surgery on hur stomach!!! so keep up wid it every day!!!

probablly not. a safety pin is so much thinner than an actual belly ring. you can try? pushing it through might hurt really bad though

lol I did this, and it don’t work!!! I let it heal, and I got it done professionally and it was harder for them because there was a lot of scaring.

Piercing it yourself wasn’t smart. Take it out and let it heal then get it professionally done. It’ll work out better that way. You should never do ANY piercing yourself, you should always get them professionally done, that way they turn out better and you won’t have any problems with stuff like infections.

lmao I tried this actually. no. it doesn’t work. I found the thickest safety pin I had. and the ring still wouldn’t go in. you can; it would just take gauging out your belly button a little. and since you just pierced it…I wouldn’t suggest it. when I tried, I did get it through, but not without a lot of blood and infection coming with it. if you’re dead set on doing it, you can. but it’s not exactly the smartest thing… (I’m not being mean. I’m laughing at the fact that I did this and since you were determined enough to pierce it with a safety pin, you’ll probably try to get the ring in as well. I’m just warning you that it hurts and it’s not really safe, with the infection and all.)
