My partners belly button stinks!! This normal? My partner says it sweats yellow smelly fluid, this normal?
Why do bely buttons smell?
Ew! No! It could be a yeast infection! Belly buttons that don’t get cleaned properly + sweating can create a damp environment for yeast infection to thrive.
See a doctor about it! Your partner will mostly probably get some antibiotics to take and maybe some topical cream/ hygiene tips.
If the belly button has bacteria then the warmth along with the sweat will cause it to smell. Tell him/her to wash with antibacterial soap as often as he/she showers (hopefully they shower daily).
