Is my belly button piercing infected?

I’ve had it for about 2 months now. At first it didn’t hurt at all and was fine, then one day it leaked some pus, but not a lot. All of a sudden its formed this really hard area around and underneath it, and the pus that used to come out doesn’t anymore. It’s become really sensitive, and hurts a lot. It also feels really tight. Since the beginning I have been cleaning it morning and night with a solution of 1 part Betadine to 4 parts water. Please help /:

Is it red? Swollen? Chances are good that it’s infected if it’s leaking pus, but you’re doing the right thing by keeping it clean….if it gets worse, see a doctor, but don’t take it out.

It’s a little red around the top. And a little swollen. I think I’m gonna mix salt and water in a shot glass and cover it with it. But if theres anything else I can do I’d love to know haha

Okay I had mine donee. I thought that mine had gottin infected but it wasn’t. I was havin all the problems you are having. Leaked pus but stopped then gets tight or feels tight. Red.. Well sometimes its red. But the case is that your body is rejecting the ring. Most the time that happens beacause that’s a ring going somewhere it aint supposed to be going like your forcing it and sooner or later the ring will grow out of the skin but don’t worry its not painful at all.. Just freaky!! Hope I help. Jus keep cleanin, cleanin ,and I wish you luck!

that makes me feel so much better haha. did it form like this weird really hard disc underneath it? its scaring me! ive tried to push it out cause i think it might be pus but nothing will come out
