Will God hate me for being who I am?

Ok I’m going to put this in an Ex-Wiccan point of View. . . . In Wicca You have a god and goddess they are the imbodiment of nature itself they neither love or hate you Wiccans do not believe in Satan . Druid and Wicca are actually differant religions. Wicca has many traditions consisting of Covens and Solitary practicers who would loosely assosiate with a coven ( I practiced Picti Witta and assosiated with a gardenian and alexandrian coven. ) Magick is only used with greatest respect their is no usage of dark magic allowed. casting a spell on someone is only done with permission. Also wiccans do not believe in hell that is a christian teaching. . . If your going to practice the craft learn the correct terms not somethings your friends are teaching you. Also Wicca, Witta, Witch and Wizard all come from the same word meaning wise one. I left wicca behind me several years ago not long after Scott cunningham passed away And returned to Christianity. why? 1Co 1:20 Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? Oh a true wiccan would not announce his beliefs so publicly the true practice is very private.

I believe that you help people. I believe there’s people with gifts besides the almighty and most powerful God himself. He shouldn’t hate you. Then, again that’s just my opinion. Now, as a wiccan. I don’t think you worship him do you? I know someone who does not. He made us all didn’t he? He knew everything supposely of how every one was supposed to live there life. I mean why would he not. He’s God.. Why would he be against someone who is a very good person and punish them without a good enough reason. God accepts who we are. He created us in his own image. Now, I can see if your a mass murder, psychopath that just loves to kill and hurt others.. Well, that my friend is a whole entirely different story. I hope I helped.

I agree with filetofspam. You profess to be Wicca, yet fear a deity that doesn’t exist in that belief system. Since your birthday is obviously not your real one, I cannot blame your ignorance on age, nor make any assumptions related to it. My advice is that you obviously were probably raised christian…yes? And at some impressionable point you started exploring exotic and alternative religions. Ceremonial ones are especially lucrative. Why? Because we live in an overly egotistical, instant gratification expected world. What better religion than one that many tout (unintelligently) as solitary self-celebrating, self powerful, all with tangible/visible results (compared to the Christian wait and see if the deity grants your wish method). Most full practicing Wiccans know that this is none of what Wicca teaches.

Anyway my point is research more. Read about what you wish to know. You have the internet: the single greatest wealth of knowledge in the history of the human race, take advantage of it.

Hate is a strong word, and I don’t believe it is in Gods vocabulary, except when he talks about sin… he hates sin… because that seperates us from him…

We will be judged according to his word… and his word declares that we are not to practive any occult activity… that pertains to a power, but, not a God ordained power, he says if we use it, we are considered as a thief and a robber…

he has his reasons.. he is God.. he gives the direction, we follow…

he gives life… he takes away life…

the power is in his hands…

why would we want to settle for second best???

when we can have the whole package…

Seeing how you’re asking a very difficult question let’s take a look at what the bible has to say. Now before I do understand that this is God’s word not my own and I will provide scriptural references for you too. In Acts 13 verses 8 - 11, “But Elymas the sorcerer(for so his name was translated) withstood them,(Saul and Barnabas), seeking to turn the proconsul away from the faith.Then Saul, also called Paul, filled with the Holy Spirit looked intently at him and said,”O full of deceit and all fraud, you son of the devil, you enemy of all righteousness, will you not cease perverting the straight ways of the Lord? And now indeed the hand of the Lord is upon you, and you shall be blind, not seeing the sun for a time.” And immediately a dark mist fell on him and he went around seeking to find someone to lead him by the hand. Also, in Acts 16 verses 16 - 19. Now it happened as we went to prayer, that a certain slave girl possessed with a spirit of divination met us, who brought her masters much wealth by fortune telling. This girl followed Paul and us and cried out in a loud voice,”These men are the servants of the Most High God, who proclaim to us the way of salvation.” And she did this for many days. But Paul being greatly annoyed, turned and said to the spirit,” I command you in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her.” And he (the evil spirit) came out that very hour. Does God hate you? No, quite the contrary He loves you. However, He does not like what you’re doing being a Wiccan or Druid. Will He send you to hell? Well, if you believe in Christ as Savior and Lord, repent or turn away from this witchcraft, sorcery, etc then no you won’t have chosen to go to hell. Yes, it’s a choice. That’s free will. God doesn’t send anyone to hell. If you or anyone else choose to ignore Him and live however you please then yes you will go to hell. No second chances after death, no bargaining, no reincarnation to try again, no pergatory. Strong words maybe but Jesus talked more about hell then any other subject. Does it make you a bad person. I don’t know you except for the question so I can’t say for sure. Besides that I would be being judgmental and that is definately not my intent. As for your fear of people thinking you are a Satanist. Witchcraft and sorcery go hand in hand with Satan because he will and does have a counterfeit or replica of everything God does. He even casts himself as an angel of light. Having had personal experience in this many years ago I know the devil is real but I also know that he was crushed by the cross of Christ. Don’t play around with this because it will ultimately harm you. Ever seen the movie,” The Ten Commandments”? The members of Pharoh’s court did magic to beat Moses and Aaron. Each time they did it back fired on them but the point is the same as I mentioned earlier. Satan will try to match God’s power but can’t, and won’t.

if you belive he exists who says you have to do what he says. You shouldnt just have a relationship w/ him because of fear, you should like him for who he is.And he should like you for that same reson. Hope 4u

the only thing u have to accept is that there is a god and god loves u u can’t talk about god as if he’s a human. and god doesn’t want u to fear him like everybody says. god is not a powerful king who abuses his power and order people around or else!! Believe in god the way u want to.. u don’t have to be a christian to be loved by god

God doesnt hate anyone he loves everyone the Same but he wants u to belive in him. Just ask ur self Is what im doing good? i learned in sunday school that when u heal someone ur giving there soul to the devil. But no God doesnt hate u. He dide for u so y would he hate u?

Wicca is a religion. Christianity is a religion.

Your question is non sequitur. You are saying that you believe and follow Wicca but you fear the Christian God will damn you to Hell.

Do some more research on Wicca, Christianity, and perhaps some other religions and worldviews and make an informed decision what you believe.

C.S.Lewis has an interesting take on hell. I believe it is developed most in his The Great Divorce. He describes hell as, ultimately, the persistant rejection of God and everything God can do for you. Such a soul condemns itself to suffering, since only God can truely satisfy us. But, since God made us with free will, in the end God will accept (with regret and love) our choice if we insist on suffering. Yet, such a soul cannot be left free to harm the rest of the world, to try to endlessly devour every good thing that cannot really satisfy. Hell, then, is a sort of bandage on such a soul, the last, eternally painful mercy that is all God can offer a soul that refuses anything better. It is truely tragic.

god is the least judgemental person (or thing) ever. he loves you so much and just wants you to love him back. by recognizing that he is god and that jesus was his son, you will go to heaven. and do not listen to anyone who tells you are going to hell because it is not up to them. god would not send you to hell then let someone who is very cruel who clames to be a cristian to heaven. if you want to find out more, its all in the bible. god loves ya.

i was wicca for 3 years, but also feared going to hell.. how could i be scared of somethiung i didn;t believe in??? i thought about it for a few years, and now im going to be baptized as an orthodox christian… if you are looking to be baptized orthodoxy is similar to wicca.. it’s very earth oriented.. you are just adding jesus into the picture! good luck with whatever your decision is!

No one here has the answer. God is unknown, except in your soul. I do not believe a supreme being would hate you for confusion. And you do seem confused. You are Wiccan and Druidic but worry about the Abrahamic God?

Search your heart and soul and if you truly believe what you are doing is ‘right’ then it probably is for you.

I don’t think it is… I’m not either of those but my sisters friend is Wiccan and I support her all the way. I dont think God will hate you for being who you are. And I don’t think you will go to hell either… as for the satanist thing… I think people fear it because they dont understand it… and when people dont understand something they tend to freak out or something…

I’m not going to bore you with bible stories, scripture or tell you how to live your life.

However, no matter what God, Goddess, or supreme being you believe in will “hate you” just because you’re Wiccan or Druid.

I don’t fear your religion at all and I am a wiccan as well but I only cast positive energy I don’t hex nor curse and it actually depends what you do in order for God to hate you. God doesn’t hate you. You can be what ever you want as long as no one gets hurt :)

If God hated than he would be a negative, he is not negative, he is all pure love, omnipotent,we are spiritual beings having a physical expierence, their are many religions, and their is good in all that love God, their are many paths to God& religions are one, AND For the wittyone, being you want to correct spelling, check your own, the word is spelled not spelt, lol, Karma,
