What is the best 'beginner' pet ?
best a nocturnal pet because Im at school all day. Something my dogs won’t try to kill 24/7. Something that won’t eat my dogs. Something sorta lovable. Easy to take care of.

i would say a cat because they are low maintenance animals. You need to feed them and clean there litter box and thats it, but im not sure if your dog would get along with it
Agree, but gerbil instead of a hamster. Gerbils are more awake during the day and are more curious. Hamsters are nocturnal.
they all require responibility, caring, cleaning, feeding, ect. but a fish is one of the easiest ones as it doesnt require much time to take care of it
