I don’t think they know their gonna die, & I’m not cometely sure on this but I believe their heart is attatched to the stinger.

Answer #2

awww how sad! :(

Answer #3

Ive never heard of that. My Dad told me that they die because afterwards they have nothing to defend themselves with, so they die. Its cause they use their defense, but since you can only use it once, they cant defend themselves again.

Answer #4

They die because their sting gets stuck in the victim and it tears away from the bees abdomen when they try to fly away, which leads to the bees death. Im sure they dont know they will die, and in fact that dont always. It depends what they are stinging. They die when they sting people because our skin is thick and their stingers get stuck. In something with thinner skin, this doesnt happen.

Answer #5

Their stinger get stuck to the human skin, and since one main component of the abdomen get ripped away from the bee when it tries to fly away, it will die shortly. It is sudden. I was a unlucky victim of a bee sting when I was 8 years old and I know how pain it was. I literally saw the stinger sticking out of my palm, and the bee was already lying on the floor. That was my last time I was going to try killing a bee with my bare hands.
