BUT please, please, give the kitten enough time with its mother before you take it away. Eight weeks minimum, 10 weeks is better. You’ll get a happier, healthier and generally better-adjusted pet.

You can visit it in the meantime - but a baby animal needs its mother, also after it has learned to eat/drink other foods than mother’s milk.
