Bad school?

well if you feel that your safety is at risk maybe you should look into homeschooling. I dont think you should drop out and that’s great you want to continue your education. but if you feel that you are not safe maybe you should address the school board. not the faculty, but the actual school board. maybe write your congressman a letter and get some of your other peers to sign a petition letting them know that the faculty doesn’t seem to care that students lives are at risk at this school. there are federal laws against bringing guns to a school so maybe you should talk to law enforcement about this. but, if you can’t leave that school for whatever reasons you have then don’t just sit idly by. do something. there are things that you can do. don’t be scared to do them.

the reason that the teachers don’t seem to really care is because they really don’t get paid that much. they make below minimum wage. it takes a special teacher to love the work that they do instead of looking at it as it’s just job and it pays my bills. well, it’s more than that. look at the school you’re in and how bad things have gotten. now think of this and look at the rest of The United States where the main population is not predominantly upper class and white.

if you want to change things then do something about it. I’m not saying do something that could endanger your life. but, do something about it. find out who your congressman is. write that person a letter. violence in schools is a really big issue. and maybe this could get addressed and dealt with if they knew about it. but if no one tells them how can they know?

if you don’t know how to find out who your congressman is then do a google search on congressman of (your state). all congressmen currently active in congress has a website. but, there is one thing you can do. let people who can change things know so that they can change things.
