bad breath

sometimes when I brush my teath they smell bad after a little while

Answer #1

Are you following up the brushing with flossing? If you are, you could be agitating the tiny hidden bits of old food, and those bits could have begun to putrefy before you brought them out in the open. Hence the smell after the minty smell of the toothpaste goes away. Flossing before brushing will help if this is what’s happening.

Good Luck!!

also besides what they said your breath normally takes on the foul odor from the tongue. the tongue needs brushed or scraped with a tongue scraper. thats where like 75% or more of bad breath comes from. keep the tongue clean. brush it in the back. lots of bacteria can sit on that tongue. and yes do floss. food being stuck in between teeth can make a bit of a difference.
