how to baby sit a two months old baby?

Answer #1

If you never have, it might not be a good idea to start without first spending time with the mother and child to learn what needs to be done. babies that young require a lot of care.

..I think you are right. It will be just for couple hours and on the weekends. It is actually for him and a brother who is 2 years old. I will talk to their parents. I would love to but they have to know that I have a lot of love in my heart for kids but not experience. Thank you for your kind and true response.

feed it, clean it, burp it, sing to it…if it’s crying pick it up pat it gently on the back try to figure out if it is gas or might need a diaper change…if it’s a nice warm day & you have parents consent take it out in a carriage for a stroll in the park…(of course make sure dressed properly & you have a small bag of a few things you may need like a pack of tissues to wipe off any drool…a bottle if gets irritated a change of diapers & baby wipes and a small blanket just in case it gets a little chilly for some reason.)

not sure what else accept the keys to the house and some sunscreen for the babies face…but if you really have no experience…i wouldnt really do anything but keep it calm, fed & quiet!

hope this helped.

Answer #4

the first time that you go to babysit ask the mo if you can come like 15 minutes earlier so you can ask questions and see how she does things, and get use to the house…. that what i did it helped me a lot and i had to watch a 3 mouth old and a 1 year-old

Answer #5

You might not have to feed him if he only breastfeeds. Basically just change the diaper and entertain him with toys. You could bring him into the living room on a blanket so you can entertain him while playing with his brother too.
