baby rats again

why is everyone who answers me pissed because I breed my rats? besides the fact that I LOVE them I only do it because my friends want them and I can give them pretty much waht colors they want. plus when you buy a rat in a pet store its WAY harder to hand train them and I show them too. why people got to have somthing against it?

Your right you can do what you want with your rats. If you show them you might have a better blood-line. So I agree with you totally. Do myou keep them? You should be prepared, they multiply fast! :)

Answer #4

Stephanie, If people keep going to pet stores to get rats they will stay indemand and keep breeding them to put in pet stores. I don’t recommend buying any animal at a pet store, they don’t belong there. I don’t care what you breed just be responsiable and do what is right for the animal. Don’t rip people off, find good homes, and if vet care needed (get you wallet out) And your door should always be open to see how the pets live and see the parents of whatever you are breeding. PET STORES SUCK!!!

Answer #5

It’s not any harder to train a rat from a pet store, where in the world did you get that idea? It’s wrong because there are hundreds of rats in the pet stores and rat rescues needing homes badly, why would you breed when there are so many? It’s common sense. Your friends could easily go get any colour they want without you breeding, that’s horrible, seriously. You obviously don’t know very much about rats.

I have 9 rats, they are my world. All 9 are from pet stores and are fully trained, even litter trained. I’d never breed my girls, not in a million years.
