The course generally explores key issues of education as you probably guessed. It draws on the educational aspects of sociology, politics and psychology, as well as exploring the history and philosophy of education.

Examples of education modules include: learning and teaching, history of education and educational policy, political sociology or learning in the early years. However, details of what’s in the course will vary depending on the university you’re looking at.
