What if I want to work somewhere simple too?
I’m 20 and here’s the thing I have a full time job I work from 7a-6:30p m-s. I make over 40k with great advancements but I am not happy I break my head all day doing math :( I have a lot of money to pay, I recently got married and my husband wont even let me get a part-time job (aside from my full-time job) we really need the money as you see I bring home most of the bacon but I want to work some where simple don’t laugh @ dairy queen just to do something else and fun! what should I do? Please help me! I want both jobs !
First (silver13)- a marraige is a parnership. It would be a very bad idea to not discuss and compromise with your spouse. its not “getting a backbone”. husband and wife share a backbone.
Second- Who the hell likes their job. It’s work, its not supposed to be fun, or they would call it going to fun. If you are satisfied with the pay and benefits the job offers, you should try to change your attitude about the actual work that you do. Find a way to make it a contest or a game in your mind. If you quit and go work at Dairy Queen, sooner or later, ice cream will be lame too. It’s all in your head. Hang in there. If you have a problem with the money and or benefits or hours, then go look for another job. You are obviously worth at least 40k a year, so don’t let the lure of a “fun” job rob you of half your salary. And in the mean time while you are crunching numbers all day, check out the classifieds on your lunchbreak, you may just find something that suits you better. Good Luck.
well im not in there yet but I think you should go ahead and do what you want.I’ve bin told at skoo that its not good to work somewhere where you dont like 2 and you should do what you want to do.even tho his your husband you cant let him stop u.u might have to get a backbone if you cant do it
relax…it sounds like you got a lot to handle…sit down and take a deep breath..relax…ok,now you shouldn’t work two jobs at once…you will get tired out and it will take a toll on your mental state…heres what I think…see if you could get a scedule change so you have days off and on those days off work part time…then manage your money, keep two piles of money..one for bills(that you ONLY use for bills) and one for other stuff like food, clothes, meds(if needed), like the stuff that is nessary and have alittle money off to the side for a “rainy day” I don’t know thats my idea…I hope it helps
