how does one point perspective work?

if someone could kindly give me instuctions on how one point perspective works that would be great, thanks :)

Well, I’m no expert but I’ll try to help. You draw a dot somewhere on the page, like the centre. Any horizontal lines or vertical lines you draw normally. Any lines going “into” or “out of” the page you draw by putting a ruler between the line’s starting point and the dot. Then you draw your line as long as you want it, following the ruler. I don’t know how you do curved lines… It’s hard to explain without being able to show you, but I did my best. Hope it helps :)
