Associative/ Non-Associative

I need more associative, and non- associative examples. I already have one associative the sound of a bell after being conditioned properly the bell makes the dog produce saliva to the sound of a bell.

Answer #1

Non-associative would be an animal that changes their reaction to something, even when the outside stimulus is the same. Usually they change their reaction out of habit.

For example, if you poke a sea slug, they will curl their body inwards to protect themselves automatically. However, if you keep poking them, they will curl up less and less. The habit of the poking will cause their reaction to change.
