What do you think of the name "Mizore", and what do you think of non-Japanese people having Japanese names?

I started watching the show called Rosario Vampire and totally fell in love with one of the character’s names which is, Mizore. It’s said like ‘Meez-or-a’ you roll the ‘R’. I’m not having a baby anytime soon, but this name just gets to me. I think it’s very beautiful and if I ever do have a child I’m considering this. However I’m not japanese, this name is. I’m just curious of what people think of the name and what do you feel generally of people who aren’t japanese having a japanese name? if you dislike the name please don’t be to harsh about it.

I believe tha’tis extremely brilliant! Oh shoo all those people who would make fun of someone with that name. On the contrary, some may disagree. But I say that i’tis a wonderful name! Are you positive it is of the Japanese tongue? If you roll the ‘r’ it may be Spanish, however I cannot put my finger on it for sure. Have jolly good luck with granting this name to your future child! Very beautiful name, very nice indeed.

Answer #2

It does sound spanish, but Rosario Vampire is japanese and when I googled the name it said it was Japanese. In the show the R is rolled XD To me the name sounds Spanish and French, it doesn’t obviously seem Japanese like some other names. :)

Alright then…I guess you were right. Brilliant name though, very brilliant!

Well, the name is defenetly different. I do not nessesarily like it but that shouldn’t really mean much. What matters is what you think of it. If you like it then there is nothing wrong with naming your child like that. I think that people that are not japanese but decide to name their kids with japanese names really must like the name. When choosing a name for a child one should not just think about how much they like the name but about how the child will like the name. The child will be the one carrying the name after all. Think about how people would react to a non japanese person with a japanse name, the child will defenetly stand out. I see it almost like giving a boy a girl name or a girls a boy name, they will stand out.
