asking for money..

How do I ask my dad for money? I don’t live with my dad and I hate asking him for money, but there is a trip to chicago that I want to go to and it’s only 40 bucks. I know he has the money but I feel like I’m using him, but I’m not. I love my dad. I’m a daddy’s girl. It’s just awkward, but he’s my dad; he’s suppose to pay for things like this right?

well I figured out on my own that the best way to do it to make it to where it doesnt make you seem like you are using him…call him a couple days in a row and just talk bout normal things and final call him and ask him if you can have the money,,that makes it to were it doesnt seem like you are using him

Of course your dad is supposed to pay for that kind of stuff! He’s your dad… he should be more than glad to help you out. Just call him or go see him and explain about the trip. Tell him you REALLY want to go, but you don’t have $40, which is how much it costs to go. I bet he’ll give you the money then :)

haii haii… if yOu & yOur dad lOve each Other than he shOuld have nO prOblem giving yOu the mOney yOu want/need fOr the trip…same thing happened tO me when I wanted tO gO the America fOr a schoOl thing.. its was $4,OOO he paid fOr bOth my sister & I the same year..!! goOd luck =] xO.

I bet when you go too see him he will not only give you $40 but he will give you $100,
