Are they really slaughtering precious little knishs for pastry?

How do we stop the killing of the knishs?

A friend sent me a link to a site that is describing the horrible slaughter of these adorable little creatures for a pastry!!!

I am such an animal lover, and I hate hearing about these things.

What can we do to help out??? Has anyone else heard about this???

This is actually not a joke. If you go to a Jewish Deli they actually have a wooden thing that holds the knish in place as they grind it… if you go in the morning you can hear the poor things squeaking.

I went to the website and bought a shirt! At first I thought it was real but after reading previous posts I found out that it was just a joke.

Hey sam831 I might buy a thong, too!! It has a picture of a cute little “knish” on it.

Whew!!!

Okay this might be a joke website but it’s a darn funny one! I admit …a bit twisted…

Did you guys see that you can order T-Shirts and even THONGS that say “Save The Knish!” I am really tempted. Be the first on your street to own one!

Thanks for the info folks. Guess the little guys are safe :)

People, it’s a joke website. Sorry to ruin your please, but the guy has a donation button that reveals it as such. “Reference: for your entertainment only, any donations will be spent frivilously”(sic)

Enjoy the laugh. (The best people are those that can laugh at themselves.) Good Luck!!

If you really want to see what’s up, go to the “save the knish (dot) org” website. You can get all the info there.

Answer #8

Poor little knishes. The sad thing is, if they weren’t being brutally slaughtered, they’d probably die from dihydromonoxide poisoning.

Answer #9

o_o I can’t believe some one could eat that!!! It’s so adorable..and it doesn’t look very tasty..that poor thing…what can I do to help?

Answer #10

I think “knish” is the name of the pastry and not an animal used to make the pastry.

–noun Jewish Cookery. a fried or baked turnover or roll of dough with a filling, as of meat, kasha, or potato, often eaten as an appetizer or snack.

Answer #11

I have!!! I saw it all on the “save the knish dot org” website. You’ve got to go and see it. Does anyone know if it’s real or not?

Answer #12
