Applying mascara before doing your eyeshadow

Is it bad to apply your mascara before starting on your eyeshadow?…I’ve always done it like that and my makeup still looks really good after im done…does it really make a difference if you apply it before or after eyeshadow?

I always put eye shadow on before bc I am clumsy and I tend to make some eyeshadow fall onto my eye lashes .. soo then afterwards I put on mascara =)

I always put my mascara on before my eye shadow I don’t see any difference but just like stephanie said you have to be careful if you’re using powder because some might go on your lashes.

I’ve always found it better to do mascara afterwards. Especially if you are using powder eyeshadow because some falls onto your eyelashes then it completely messes up your mascara. I use liquid eyeshadow and I still use mascara last because if not my eyelashes get in the way and end up all clumped together.

I always do mascara last. It’s easier just in case you mess up your eyes shadow or liner. And it gives more of a finishing touchh look to it. (:
