Any other girls in year 8 having to have the Cervical cancer jab?

I’m a female, and in year 8. The nurse at my school is offering all girls a jab to fight against cervical cancer. they said its only for year 8s and 13s.

Any other girls having to have this jab??

It’s called Gardasil. I would highly recommend it, for all girls who have started their periods. It is not a sure fire way to not get cervial cancer, but it helps to protect against HPV which is the leading cause of cervical cancer. Go ahead and get it. I believe it is a series of 3 shots.

I had mine done today, im 12, and it stings a lil bit, now it aches a bit but I’m happy I’ve got it done ! You should defo do it!

if you’re talking about the HPV shot, I took it too. but it’s for women in general, not just for 8th graders ?

yes im from ferryhill and in year 8 I think every1 is getting this jab im excited but nervous
