any advice on my poem I wrote?

getting in front of an audience isnt my kind of thing this feels like torture as I would say I feel like I am on fire, as my face turns red like a tomato I can barley breath with a knot in my throught oh how I wish this was over!!

is there anything I need to change add or wht do you think!

heres another poem that I wrote! hope it helps you!

A good friend is always kind, Should always speak their mind, Their compassion should never end, That’s what it takes to be a good friend.

A good friend is there for you, They are real, they are true- blue, Their compassion should never end, That’s what it takes to be a good friend.

A good friend will be there when you marry, A heart full of memories, they will carry, Their compassion should never end, That’s what it takes to be a good friend.

They’ll be there if your mother dies, They’ll weep with you when you cry, Their compassion should never end, That’s what it takes to be a good friend.

If a good friend you do find, Make sure they treat you kind, Understanding they shouldn’t lack, And they would never stab you in the back, On top of everything always remember, A best friend is forever.

getting in fronk of an audiance makes me soak it makes my forehead sweat and my palms damp I feel as my skin is on fire

that is just a sugestion

but its your poem… its good I like it

first of all, your off to a good start, so heres an example of something I wrote…

How many nights have I lain in terror, O Creator Spirit, Maker of night and day,

only to walk out the next morning over the frozen world hearing under the creaking of snow faint, peaceful breaths… snake, bear, earthworm, ant…

and above me a wild crow crying ‘yaw yaw yaw’ from a branch nothing cried from ever in my life.

u spelled throught instead of THROAT so change that, but yea I ttly know how you feel. Good poem.
