Can You Get Anemia By Eating To Much Ice?

Answer #1

No. Anemia is a lack of iron in the blood…ice is just frozen water - there’s no connection.

Answer #2

The only connection I can see here is that eating ice is a trick to keep you full, something people commonly use when they have eating disorders. People with eating disorders also often have anemia because they simply arent getting enough nutrition. But one doesnt cause the other.

Answer #3

Actually it is the other way around.

Having the urge to eat ice can be a sign of anemia. Eating ice is the symptom not the cause.
