Am I too young to be nervous about my career?

am I too young since I am 15 to be a little scared since I cant decide what I want to do when I grow up and where I want to go to collage?

Yes, you’ve got plenty of time….you’re doing the wise thing by getting an early start on this big decision….a few things in general: maybe a field trip or internship where you can observe ‘first-hand’ that profession in action….find out the education requirements and start to line up your high school courses accordingly….always aim for the highest (you aim for lesser later if you like)….remember the good paying jobs are those that pay you for what you know and not what you do….once you find what you want to pursue, if you fail at first DO NOT give up, you WILL succeed….I wish you the very best life has to offer !!

no .. you are experiencing the pefect fear and anxiety for your age. you’re right on track. especially since your perplexity is over deciding into which direction to channel your efforts .. this is an age (15 - 17) when the way of thinking that the individual has experienced up to now is pulled out from under by the body’s need to develope new chemicals and enzymes that total frig out the baby’s brain. The only thing you do need to hold on to in order to maintain your sanity during these trying times is the awareness of your inherent goodness and purity .. walk in beauty, and trust that this growing pain, too, shall pass. (ps. Astronomy will maintain your youthful spirit forever .. it does mine ;-)

Answer #3

At your age your best bet is not to get anxious about your career choice but to work hard in school to keep all your options open.

I changed my mind several times before I settled on my current career. A rather embarassing number of people end up in fields far different than what they went to college for.
