Am I jumping ahead of myself with this guy?

I’m a shy girl. and I find it really hard to talk to people I don’t know or even people I do know sometimes.

Theres this guy I met once. he lives in my area so I could see him whenever. He’s a couple of years older than me. I started talking to him on bebo and he was being really nice. In the next couple of messages, he said that I looked really pretty in my picture. Do you think it means anything or he’s just being nice? :( Because I hardly ever ever see him - I wanna know just some signs that he could like me that aren’t like “he constantly looks at you”.

hey well it seems to me that he does like you by the comments, like why would he say it otherwise? like you said you dont know him well and youve just started talking, so he wouldnt say that without meaning it, if he doesnt like you that way he wouldnt want to give you the wrong idea! he likes you! give compliments back and see how it goes! good luck:)
