A lot a lot a lot a lot of pain.

Alright so at this moment for the past hour or so, my leg has been in complete pain. I was just trying to run home, about 3/4ths a mile because the rain got really hard and I couldnt risk my ipod or phone get wet. Along the way of running I take a short break under a tree where its the least bit wet, and then my leg cramps up with just a cramp that almost got me to scream. My friend said its most likely a charlie horse.

My question is, suppose that this is a charlie horse, is there any way to prevent it? Or if I do get it, is there a way to calm it down so it wont hurt as much?

You can prevent it by not running in cold wet weather (and sometimes even normal temperatures) and then stopping fast. Muscles will cramp up. So next time if youhave to stop, stretch! Keep moving a bit so your muscles don’t cramp. Once it happens, massage, warming heat, maybe heat, cold, heat. Let it rest as much as you can. I feel your pain. Been there, done that.
