What's a good age to start a rapping career?

To start? It’s like saying when is it a good time to start a career in singing. Like anything else you need to have a talent for it. Even if you do, a career in rap is hard, you need street cred. Well atleast back in my day you did=. Now you got guys like degrassi Drake and lil whezy pfft.. Not hating though, like, I like their music and everything: it’s fun to dance to lol but damn I can’t believe they compare em to pac and biggie wtf -__-‘ Anyway my point is- it’s not something you wake up one day and say, “hey I heard some dope slim Shady tracks on MTV, this looks fun I’ll try it.” And already hope to reach superstardom. This is something that is you, and not something you want to do, or try to do. I know people that are real street soldiers and have poetic souls but don’t get anywhere in the game.

Forget about the street cred thing. All you need is the passion, and spit sh!t that people will feel and relate to. Those are the makings of a true artist. And don’t look at it as making career out of it, but more you just trying to get your voice heard.

Honestly there’s not an age just set in stone for when you should begin to pursue something that you’re interested in. It’s not about your age it’s about your determination.
