When you give your baby up for adoption, do you get to visit the baby or keep in touch?
Look your papers over carefully...There isn't visitation, if that's what you mean... tho there might be something for "keeping in touch" with the adoptive parents in the papers (it will all depend on THEM, however...what they will allow and not allow until the child is 18). An "open" adoption means that the information is not confidential...so the child can contact it's birth mother and vice versa at 18 (or the age of consent)...I don't know which age it is.

There can be an open adoption in which you are still present and can visit the child. Although, you need to take a VERY good look at the adoption papers and have a lawyer present with you if you want that type of adoption. If it's not the paper work, you aren't going to be allowed to do so.
when giving your baby up they ask if you want a open adoption or not and if you say yes then yea you can but if you say no then most likely the people who are taking your kid aren't going to allow it
Well it is up to the new mom and dad or dad or mom!!!
it would be up to how the paper's are signed.
