Adoption
Is+it+possible+to+give+your+baby+whos+9+months+old+for+adoption%3F+Or+is+their+anyway+to+give+her+away%3F
you need to think of why you want to do that…if everythings just a bit too much at the moment, there are very good social work support networks…
if being a parent isn’t what you expected it to be, then welcome to the REAL world!
it’s better to hand your child over than let you and baby suffer a misreble life…
you could foster, but I think thats cruel…you either the mum, or your not, you can’t choose as, and when, you want to be.
adoption is still possible at this age, although, for the babies sake, the sooner the better, but I don’t think you have thought the reality of permanently handing baby over!
I think you’ll be better of looking for a support network and working around your problems, as we all have to :(
is ther a possiblility of PPD?
dont’ give up, you’re just getting towards te ‘rewarding stage’ it hasn’t even STARTED to go downhill yet!
I realise I’m coming from all angles, thats because I’m torn.
basically I am saying, REALLY look at what the problem is, of courser there’s people that would love a baby, but one day you may look back and regret such a decision…
WHY…if there’s a legit reason, go for it, and know your doing the right thing…
but if it’s something you can get help with…then do
yes, but relize that this is a door thats once open will close. They may want to meet you one day or not. Don’t just drop in unless given permission
This is a hard and important decision, the most important decision of your life. Think about it and when you’ve made a decision, think somemore. Adoption can be a wonderfull thing. You would be giving someone else a future and giving your baby a future (maybe even a better future than what you could give him).
It takes a selfless person to be able to give their child up. Be strong and stick by what you want. And remember whatever decision you make, you are the one that has to live with it forever.
Good luck & best wishes
Yes it is possible to give your child up for adoption. And I think that if it is in the best interest of the child…do it!!! There is such thing now as “open adoption” where the birth parents and the adoptive parents stay in touch by phone, email, pics of baby, yearly visits. This is the type of adoption I would love to give a birthmom for giving me her baby!! The more people that love your child…the better!!! Good luck sunshine, I hope you make the best decision for this baby.
yes you can give them up for adoption. there are agencies that assist u!
