Is it good or bad to have the AC running during a thunderstorm?

It’s a little hot in my room, and…the fan doesn’t seem to be helping and I’m just wondering if it’s a good idea or a bad idea.

I turn mine off, but I’m kinda paranoid bout stuff like that though

I tend to leave it on. There is always the chance that if lightning hits it could fry it but not a big chance. It’s not bad having it on during as far as I know.

I don’t think it matters one way or the other the only thing I have heard is bad to do during a thunderstorm is talk on a home(landline) phone. other then that I think anything else is OK.
