hi, I'm 19 and have been on microgynon since I was 15. since I have been on it, my periods have been totally regular, starting on a monday, ending on a friday. I still got pmt the week before and a few cramps, but otherwise everything was fine. last month however, I was due on the day I was meant to be moving house, so I ran 2 packs of the pill together (after checking the leaflet etc.) I was due to come on this monday, but didn't have anything til the tuesday- and then it was really light dark brown and only lasted til thursday morning. it's now saturday, and I am starting to get the cramps that I usually get on the first day of my period and have also started bleeding again- only lightly for now.
what's going on?! can someone please help me and tell me if this is anything to worry about?? I have been suffering from m.e. for almost a year and was recently put onto new medication, but there is nothing in the leaflet about it affecting periods. oh, and I've also just had the flu jab...I don't know if that would affect anything?!
any help would be SOSO appreciated xx
I'd say talk to a doctor about it.. cause that doesn't sound normal so I would... the medication may not affect everyone in that way but everyones body takes things differently so I would go and talk to a doctor about it and let the doc know the situation and that... it is your best shot of getting a good helpful answer... a professional opinion is best! goodluck!
