I agree with ash. Abnormal periods are usually not a big deal. Some women are just irregular all the time, while others are irregular when stressed. However, there’s no harm in making an ob-gyn appointment. If money is an issue, make an appointment at Family Planning or Planned Parenthood.

Although the chances are small, you could still be pregnant even if your tubes are tied. When women get pregnant after their tubes are tied, it is often an ectopic pregnancy, which is very serious. So while there is a good chance it’s nothing, I would make an appointment just in case if I were you. Better safe than sorry.

Abnormal periods are normal. Especially during high periods of stress. But if you think that you could be pregnant..which there is a slight chance, even with your tubes tied, then I would suggest seeing your OB-Gyn. If you are pregnant it is important that you get prenatal medical care right away to ensure that your baby is healthy.. This could be serious, but its better to be safe than sorry.
