Are 3D's actually bad for your eyes?

My friend and mom says it is but I’m not sure.

I think in a sense everything with a screen can harm your eyes…so yeah.

Like 3d glasses? yes they can damage your vision if you leave them on for a long time, but wearing them the length of a movie wont do anything, and if it did your eyes would heal within a night probably.

I had a play on one in Gamestation and I didn’t like it. I was only on it about five minutes and I got a headache.

The Nintendo 3DS is not bad for your eyes. Parents tell their kids that it is only three times: one, if their kid don’t have a 3DS and want one and their parents can’t afford one and two if their kid already have the system and spend hours playing with it obsessively and third since 3D games sometime cost more if their kid keeps begging for 3DS games. Everything you do could in excess hurt you. If you read the manual it will tell you to take breaks just like it say on any other gaming system but is not from the 3D effect.
